POSITION: Storage Engineer (SAN/NAS)

SALARY: up to $100k + bonus

LOCATION(s): Tempe, AZ

Our client in the technology industry is seeking a Storage Engineer to join their team based out of Tempe, AZ. The candidate will manage storage environments top to bottom. The tasks will include installs, configurations, upgrades, and troubleshooting any issues relative to infrastructure storage.  The candidate will also actively manage relationships with the business and serve as liaison with internal technical support and vendors. The candidate is also expected to be willing to work in a fast paced team driven environment and should be a self starter. This team is part of a 24×365 operations staff with after hour work and rotating on-call responsibilities.


  • Bachelors Degree in MIS / CIS or equivalent job experience
  • Minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience working in IT
  • Minimum of 3 – 5  years of managing EMC storage
  • Minimum of 3 – 5  years of managing Windows 2003/2008
  • Experience in forecasting and capacity planning of storage
  • Experience managing storage in a Fiber environment
  • Experience in storage security
  • Experience with storage in a VMWare environment
  • Experience with RecoverPoint Replication
  • Experience with EMC Powerpath multi-pathing software
  • Experience within Symantec Veritas volume Manager
  • Enterprise DR experience
  • Must be proficient in EMC Unisphere
  • Must be proficient in Cisco Fabric Manager and Device Manager
  • Must be proficient in Centera Viewer
  • Must have experience with Enterprise Storage solutions
  • Must be proficient in Fibre Channel, SAN, NAS
  • Must have experience with VMWare
  • Must have solid skills in Microsoft OS.
  • Knowledgeable in High Availability technologies like clustering, virtualization, etc
  • Working knowledge of networking infrastructure, RAID, SNMP, and Management GUI’s and CLI’s
