POSITION: IBM TSM Implementation Engineer
SALARY: up to 125k
LOCATION(s): Southern California (Woodland Hills or Irvine)
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Our client in the IT industry is seeking an IBM TSM Implementation Engineer for a post-sales delivery role. The incumbent will be expected to validate and implement design solutions, with an emphasis on backup & recovery solutions. The role has some pre-sales architectural support, but will be focused on installation and configuration of hardware and software.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree Business, Computer Science, or relevant field
- Strong knowledge of storage & IP networking solutions
- Strong background in Disaster Recovery methodologies;
- Experience with MS SQL, Oracle, Exchange, and Virtual environments
- Experience with AIX/Linux, Unix, and Windows Systems
- Knowledge of shell scripting
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- BRMS Skills a plus
