POSITION: Senior Consulting Engineer (Security)

SALARY: negotiable

LOCATION(s): Southern California (SD/OC), or San Francisco

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Our client in the technoligy industry is seeking a Security Expert to join their consulting team. The Senior Consulting Engineer will be responsible for providing design, consulting, implementation, and support services to clients. The incumbent will provide technical leadership on projects, coordinate proof-of-concept testing, and other responsibilities as required. Most of the required work will be involved with the design & architecture of data center and networking type projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong experience deploying network & security services for large organizations
• Strong Cisco experience

• • Cisco Routing & Switching
  • Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) implementation experience
  • Cisco PIX/ASA & IPS experience
  • Cisco CSM Experience
  • RSA software experience (SecureID, DLP, enVision, etc)
• CCNP or CCNP+Security certification preferred
• CISSP preferred
• Cisco Wireless, F5 Experience a plus
• Travel is required
